2. Savoy Cabbage

Savoy Cabbage

The Savoy Cabbage is considered to be one of the top foods that repress cancerous cell growth by more than 80 percent. It's mainly helps prevent Brain, Colon, and Lung cancer. By eating cabbage, it give you an "extra" protective layer of healthy nutrients and at the same time detoxifying your body.

What can Savoy Cabbage be put into? What kinds of food?

There's actually a lot you'll see cabbage in, one typical thing that most of eat on a weekly would be:

As unhealthy this is, the cabbage in it is probably the most healthy thing in there, and it's not as horrible tasting as other veggies such as yucky bitter melon. A few people actually like eating cabbage in their soup, such as these examples:

This soup is called Sinigang, originating from the Philippines, this soup consist of various vegetables such as broccoli and (of course) cabbage while at the same time having carbohydrates such as meat and potatoes. I'd recommend you to try this delicacy whenever your at a Filipino restaurant, or even house. :]

So remember folks, next time you're served cabbage, eat them! Your parents aren't lying, they're actually good for you!

1. Healthy Foods!

          Alright so for my Blog, I will be talking about foods that help prevent or repress Cancer. I thought this was an interesting idea because a few years back or maybe back in my childhood, my parents, in their free time, would always search up foods and ways to prevent cancer. So by this blog, I just thought that maybe if anyone reads this, they too would use the advice and thought I put into it. And to this day, my parents actually put pieces of paper on my fridge that talk about why/why not this specific food is good/bad for you. For example, there's a sheet of paper that has a list of vegetables and fruits that explain which cancer they prevent and how they do it. By my next post, I should explain one of them. :)

          Well, first of all, I want everyone to know that all the foods I post in here only MAY prevent cancer, they may or may not, but the point is that this blog shows these foods and may whoever help find this interesting. Some of my post wont also just provide help for cancer users, but also other medical problems such as tumors, epilepsy, and cysts.

           Lets start off with this simple vegetable. The carrot. Many people must have heard from their parents, "Eat carrots, improve your eye-sight. However, this is only a myth. It started when air plane pilots whose eyes were just barely above the limit to fly. They decided to eat carrots, and when they tested out their skills in the air, it increased intensely.



So, how can carrots help? Researchers have shown that carrots have beta-carotene, which is an antioxidant,  which counteracts the deterioration of stored food products, it creates vitamin A in your body. Anyways, in simple form, it delays the form of colon tumors.
